God & Gardening w/ Pastor Marty

Since God fashioned man and placed him in a beautiful garden as a caretaker, I’ve always thought it important to take care of the garden I call my yard. It is, after all, a divine mandate.

Some saints, however, struggle with how to manage the area divinely entrusted to them. Questions gnaw at them:

• How can I keep weeds, a sign of the Adamic curse, out of my flowerbeds?
• How do I get a green, lush lawn?
• What do I do about insects or diseases in my turf?
• How do I get healthy, beautiful roses?
• How do I identify weeds?
• What’s the best way to overseed a lawn?
• What’s the best seed for a strong, drought-resistant turf?
• What are the best tools for pruning, mowing, spraying, and so forth?

And these are just a few of the questions I’ve heard over the years.
