Be encouraged in your faith as Speaker, Podcaster and Author, Heather Holleman (heatherholleman.com), joins us at Burke Community Church on Saturday, April 5th from 10am – 2:30pm for our Seated, Surrendered and Sent series.
Continue to build connections with your Sisters in Christ during the Saturday Afternoon Activities (Scavenger Hunt, Painting, Prayer, Dance, Pickleball) and end the evening enjoying a night of worship together!!

Dress up from your favorite Era & join us at Springfield Country Club on Friday, April 4th, from 6:00pm – 9pm for a fun interactive workshop with Heather Holleman to begin loving conversations that will lead to warm connections while we dine together. Dinner options include a Taco Bar or Mediterranean Buffet.
Since you’re “Seated” with Christ, heal from jealousy, comparison, and striving to live “Surrendered” knowing the Lord deeply in a way that encourages full submission to Him living a “Sent” Life on a supernatural adventure with Jesus! Each 40 minute session concludes with times for reflection and discussion.

Seated – What could life look like if we stopped fighting for a seat at the table and instead took our seat at the greatest table with the Greatest King? Join Heather Holleman for a deep dive into Ephesians 2:6 where we learn that God “raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” Instead of fighting for a seat through appearance, affluence, and achievement, Heather teaches women how to adore, access, and abide to live lives of freedom, peace, and joy in Jesus.
Surrendered – Heather invites participants to “offer their bodies as a living sacrifice” (Romans 12) by learning the foundational truths that allow us to surrender fully to God. Women learn of God’s guarding care through key scriptural images and passages, and they ask the 4 Hard but Great Questions that position the heart for surrender.
Sent: Living a Life that Invites Others to Jesus – What if your neighborhood, workplace, school, and favorite places to spend time, whether the gym or the grocery store, became spaces where you regularly walked with Jesus into people’s lives and saw God use you in powerful ways to help draw them to Himself? It can happen! Learn the mindsets, goals, and vision for living a “sent” life. You’ll leave refreshed and renewed in your vision for connecting others to Jesus.

Art with Koryn: Are you ready for a change of season? Join us as we create an acrylic floral project on canvas to celebrate springtime flowers. $15 Fee for supplies.
The Scavenger Hunt: In this exciting photo scavenger hunt, you will join a small team and set off across Burke to track down and photograph a list of fun and quirky items. Teams will navigate the area, snapping photos of unique objects, hidden gems, or unusual sights. Each team will need a volunteer driver and an app manager. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, teamwork, and a little friendly competition!
Worship Dance Workshop: Remember your love for dance? Come join us as we introduce dance steps so we can worship through movement.
Prayer Station: In this breakout session, you are invited to slow down, reflect, and encounter God in new and meaningful ways. The prayer station experience creates a unique space where you can connect with God through thoughtful prompts designed to help you re-evaluate, let go of burdens, and invite God’s peace and renewal into your heart.
Pickleball: Would you like to find out why this has become one of the fastest growing sports? Whether you are a novice or experienced, we want you on our team! Balls and paddles provided by Burke Community Church.
