Few would deny that we are living in polarizing times. Whether it’s over politics, religion or any number of social issues, it seems like people are in a constant state of conflict. And like parents of squabbling children, most are growing weary of the battle. But how is a Christian to respond? By simply being who Christ called us to be. Followers of Jesus Christ have the one and only answer for a divided world; the one and only way to peace. We are united in Him. Against a backdrop of back-biting and division, our Christian unity stands out like a candle in a pitch-black room. When we are united in our devotion to Jesus, we offer a view of a life everybody needs and, deep inside, everybody wants.
